Where payment is not received within five working days of the due date shown on the invoice, we reserve the right to charge interest. This will be applied in line with the Department of Trade and Industry’s 'Better Payment Practice' guidelines.

6. Timings and delivery

We will agree milestones and deadlines for the project from the outset, that will guide our work process together. We aim to ensure that these are met and will usually always meet them. From time to time, however, it may be necessary to put back a milestone or delivery date. We reserve the right to do this, but will always give at least 24 hours advance warning and seek to agree a mutually satisfactory change of date. In the event that a milestone or deadline is missed because we are awaiting your feedback, we reserve the right to alter remaining timings to suit the demands of our schedule.

7. Reference materials

If you ask us to look at existing content as part of your briefing, you acknowledge that the work we will prepare for you may bear similarities to this. In such a case, our work will be considered an original work under the terms of our contract. If you give us content taken from a third party’s printed or digital materials as an indication of what you would like us to do, we will make every effort to ensure that the draft we prepare does not breach the copyright of the content owner.
