Eggs and the City, Sydney 2009

Eggs and the City was produced and performed by the Seymour Centre Theatre in Sydney, as part of the Short and Sweet Festival. Set in an ovary, with nods in the direction of Woody Allen’s 1972 film ‘Everything you always wanted to know about sex* (*but were too afraid to ask)’ and the hit TV series ‘Sex and the City’, it takes a wry look at the consequences of some working girls’ unwitting decision to forfeit maternity for the pleasures and distractions of city life. It was well reviewed and played to full houses for the duration of its run.
