Company business letter

Brief: Reassure mortgage lender of business progress

Copy excerpt:

“Dear Michael,

Further to our recent discussions, please find enclosed a copy of a letter from Russell Sawtell, in which he confirms that the Estate is willing to enter into a Deed of Variation to vary the terms of our lease, subject to detail and negotiation.

We are currently setting in train proposals for these new terms, based on an increased number of staff members with more flexible consulting hours, as per the principles we discussed with you at our meeting earlier this month.

At that meeting, you indicated that, provided you were happy with our plans and provided the Estate agreed to vary the terms of the lease, you would be willing to grant us a payment holiday on our July and October mortgage repayments. I trust that with this ‘green light’ from Mr Sawtell, you will be in a position to confirm the six-month period of grace we discussed.

If you need any more from us to secure this position, please let us know as soon as possible.

Once again, many thanks for your continued support for our business. We look forward to moving from strength to strength through this exciting new phase of growth.

I look forward to your reply.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Jacobs
Company Director”
